Financial Assistance
The Chelsea Schofield Memorial Campership Fund has been established to assist those who cannot afford the full cost of camp. Please consider a special donation to help grow this fund. For those who have financial need, contact the camp office with any requests and have in mind the amount you are able to pay. Also check with your pastor to see if your church or church organization may be able to help. If you still have needs or don’t have a church home, be sure to request a campership during the registration process. We are grateful that many campers are able to attend because of the Campership Fund. Donations to this fund are welcome. It is our hope that everyone can attend camp, regardless of their ability to pay. |
Camp Rates
Every year the cost to operate Camp CILCA goes up due to inflation and improvements to the facilities and programs. Even still, we are proud to be one of the most affordable LCMS camps in the nation. It may surprise you that the actual cost for each camper is much more than what we charge. Therefore, we depend on and are very grateful to our donors, who help keep our fees low and help us improve the quality and value of this ministry. You are invited to be one of our appreciated donors. Donors also help us continue to offer scholarships to those who can’t afford to pay these rates. Even if you are unable to donate above what you are already paying for camp, we sincerely ask for your prayers.
Specialty Camps
Specialty camps are also offered such as Art, Drama, Night Owl, Aqua, Athletics, and Survival weeks. Guest presenters and coaches provide opportunities for campers to hone their skills through training sessions, scrimmages, drills, and rehearsals.
Bring Friends! Make Friends!
Our staff is trained to help first-timers make new friends quickly. Camp CILCA is open to everyone whether they go to church or not. Non-Christian friends will find that camp is a fun way to learn more about God and His love for everyone. If you and a friend wish to be in the same cabin you BOTH must put the other’s name down as a cabin-mate request (for the same camp). Camp is a great place to make lots of new friends, so if you limit the number of your cabin-mate requests, you will have more opportunities to make some great new friends from around the state!
