About
A Junior Counselor (JC) is a high school student who has completed their freshman year, loves Jesus, loves children, loves the outdoors, and wants to volunteer at CILCA! They are essential in operating a fun, safe, and Christ-centered summer program. Apply by clicking here, or contact the camp office (program@cilca.org or 217-487-7497) by April 26, 2026. About
Earn up to 80 Volunteer Service Hours per week for National Honor Society or college scholarship applications.
JC Training will have two date options. First option is Sunday May 17 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The second option is Tuesday, May 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. In order to ensure we have enough JCs and the ability to schedule JCs, you must submit your JC training preference and availability by April 26, 2026.
