What do I bring to overnight camp?

Here is a list of suggested items campers may bring to camp for a week-long program:

Bible (Make sure the Bible is not a personal heirloom and does not have high monetary value.)
Water bottle (Bring your own or purchase one at the Trading Post.)
Flashlight(s) with extra batteries
Insect repellent
Money for Trading Post (snack bar). $20 is sufficient for a 5-night stay. This will be given to camp staff during the registration process at Cabin Enoch. Any leftover money can get picked up from the Trading Post at the end of the week.
Toiletries (toothpaste, shampoo, toothbrush, comb, deodorant, soap, contact solution, feminine products) and shower towel
2 swimsuits (girls/women are asked to wear a single-piece suit), sunscreen, beach towel(s), flip-flops
Clothes & shoes that can get muddy, shorts, socks, underwear, shirts, rain jacket, bag for dirty clothes
Jeans/long pants, a long-sleeve shirt & a hat or bandana (for hiking, etc.)
A pillow & sleeping bag to lie on & a sheet to cover with
Shoes to run in (2+ pair in case of rain) (Don’t bring only sandals.)
Optional - camera
Optional - stamped postcards for writing home or other relatives
All medication must be properly labeled in original containers and placed in a zip-top bag with camper's name on it.

Please Don't Bring

Cell phone (parents may leave cell phone with counselor so camper may contact them in EXTREME emergencies only or if needed for medical purposes. Please discuss this with the office before you bring your child to camp.)
Apple or other Smart Watches
Snacks- if you want to send them snacks, please make use of the snail mail pails and they can eat them during trading post. We only have trading post twice a day so please don't send them too much food. Our storage space is limited.
Electronic / entertainment devices ( games, CD players, radios, TVs, cell phones, etc.)
Clothing that would be inappropriate for a Christian setting or offensive in general
Dangerous weapons (guns, knives, razor blades, fireworks)
Lighters, fuel lanterns
Expensive clothing or shoes, jewelry, etc.
Extra cash
Drugs: Take note: If a camper is found to be in possession of illegal substances, the proper legal authorities will be notified.
Anything that detracts from the natural outdoor Christian experience

What to Bring for Day Camp?

- swimsuit - towel - bugspray - sunscreen - Bible - hat - water bottle- closed toed shoes and shoes for the beach- long pants - change of clothes might be helpful - a backpack to keep her stuff all together - coloring book or book for FOB (basically chill time right after lunch and before swim time)
