Central Illinois District

Annual Memorial Day Weekend Hog
Roast – Sunday, May 25th
- The day begins with a 10:30am worship service followed
by the meal which begins at 11:30 a.m. and goes until
2:00 p.m. Tickets are available at the door. Door
prizes. Supplemental funds provided by Thrivent
Financial for Lutherans. Please come for the great food,
fellowship time with other Camp CILCA friends, and show
support for your Lutheran camp! |

Parent/Child Canoe Trips - July 18-19 or July 25-26
Parents can take one or more of their older kids (Finishing
5th-12th Grade) on a memorable trip down the Sangamon River.
Camp CILCA will provide all your meals, canoes, lifejackets,
paddles, and equipment. Some previous canoeing experience is
helpful, but not necessary.

Family Camp
- July 20-23 – 7pm Sunday – 3:00 pm Wednesday
Spend 4 days
with your family in a relaxing Christian environment. Stay in a
private cabin or air-conditioned room (or bring your own RV or
trailer) and leave the cooking to us. Plenty of planned camp
activities and free time! Kay Meyer, from the Family Shield
radio program, is our speaker and will be discussing parenting
(& grandparenting for those grandparents who come). |

Families with Hope Retreat - July 25-27 - 7 pm Friday -
1:30 pm Sunday
For Single or
Re-Married Parents and their Kids. Families who
have gone through divorce are invited for a weekend to learn,
grow and have fun at camp, thanks to a grant from CID-LWML. Kim
Meyer will lead some sessions for parents and kids together and
some apart. Cost is only $25 per person. - Additional financial
help is available. |

Thrivent Financial for Lutherans
will give Camp CILCA $1 for every $2 gift. This is through the
Thrivent Financial for
Lutherans GivingPlus® Program. Thrivent
Financial members can give $600 (or more) and Thrivent will donate
up to $300 per member. If you have a larger gift to give, don’t
forget to count each family member who is 16 or older. For
example, a husband and wife with a 16 year old can each donate $600 and
Thrivent Financial would donate $900 to Camp CILCA for a total gift of
$2400!!
