Men's Retreat – March 3-5, 2006 - We had 25 men involved with the men’s retreat.  Our Bible studies were again led by Rev. Rob Mrosko who did an outstanding job!  One special thing that took place on Sunday morning was that we were running low on places to cut wood because of the rain and so God led us to help a neighbor three doors from camp.  Their house was struck by lightning and a month ago they paid some guys to cut down a huge Elm tree that they were worried about, but most of the tree was still in large pieces all over his yard.  It took all 15 guys left with chainsaws and three wood splitters almost 3 hours to get his yard cleaned up.  We ended up taking several truckloads and trailers of split wood back to camp plus a trailer full of wood that still needs to be split.  We are working on a relationship with this couple since it seems they do not attend church.
